EXCLUSIVE: AC Milan to drop Badelj as Fiorentina block Croat’s exit
Calciomercato.com has exclusively learned that Pantaleo Corvino has also met the player, confirming that he won’t be moving from the Franchi until his contract expires in 2018 (the Croatia International doesn’t want to extend the deal).
AC Milan are going to wait for two-three days more before dropping the 27-year-old and make contacts for new transfer targets. The rossoneri have no more time to lose and have already scheduled a meeting with Jose Sosa’s agent.
Galliani, however, hopes that Corvino can change his mind and sell the former Hamburger SV man to AC Milan, maybe in the last days of the transfer window, especially if a new midfielder has not joined the club by that time.
AC Milan’s assault on the player, otherwise, will be postponed to next January or the next transfer window, when Corvino will be forced to lower the player’s price-tag in order not to lose him for free in summer 2018.
