EXCLUSIVE: AC Milan pounce on Rincon

AC Milan’s transfer campaign is ready to take off after the appointment of Vincenzo Montella. The priority for the rossoneri midfield is Leandrdo Paredes. Trouble is, AS Roma have rejected an offer of € 15 million from Zenit because they are aiming to cash in € 20 million and they are in no rush to sell the former Empoli star as they still want to wait for Luciano Spalletti’ opinion on the promising playmaker.

According to CM pundit Daniele Longo, the rossonieri have joined the race to sign Genoa midfielder Rincon. Cagliari have agreement with the grifone (€ 10 million plus bonus), but the player want to wait for the offer of a bigger club.

AS Roma would try to sign the Venezuela International if Nainggolan joins Chelsea, but the Belgian star’s reluctance to move away from the Olimpico means the giallorossi will make no offer for Rincon.

The 28-yer-old midfielder netted three goals and registered seven assists in 34 games with Genoa last term and even if AC Milan have yet to make an official offer to sign the player, Galliani might propose a swap deal involving Suso who impressed during his six-month loan spell at the Marassi last season.
