Everton interested in Inter playmaker Ever Banega
The 27-year-old is reported by football.fr to be a part of Ronald Koeman’s plans, having found his starting place under threat since new Coach Stefano Pioli’s arrival.
Banega has played most (12) of the Nerazzurri’s league games so far, but is now arguably behind Marcelo Brozovic and Joao Mario in the running for a midfield spot.
The Argentine joined the Nerazzurri in summer on a free from Sevilla, a club with whom he took home two Europa Leagues.
The former Sevilla man is respected by new Coach Stefano Pioli, and has garnered a very strong Whoscored Rating (7.22), contributing one goal two assists to the cause.
Nerazzurri need money to invest, seeing as they have to balance the books in order to respect the FFP deal they made with UEFA almost four years ago.
Inter face Sassuolo on Sunday afternoon, while the Toffees play Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby.
