EURO 2016: Inter strikers claim the spotlight. What about their future?
EDER – The former Sampdoria star scored his last goal in April and has been struggling since joining the nerazzurri from Sampdoria last January. Inter have a compulsory € 11 million buy-out clause which they will activate after Eder’s first official appearance in the 2016-17 campaign. Inter are uncertain about the player’s future at the club and are looking for suitors willing to invest on him. No clubs have shown their interest yet (apart from some Chinese ones), but yesterday’s goal against Sweden might be a new starting point for the Italian striker.
PERISIC – The Croatia International is not for sale, at least not for Roberto Mancini. He scored the opener against Czech Republic yesterday and the Italian tactician considers him a mainstay of the team. Inter bought him from Wolfsburg last summer for € 18 million, but for economic reasons Inter might consider his sale for an offer exceeding € 30 million.
