Erkin threatens Inter: ‘Let me leave for free or I’ll stay and you’ll pay me’

Caner Erkin will leave Inter after just two months since his arrival and with no official games played with the benamata.

According to Turkish paper Hurriyet, the former Fenerbache man will sign a € 2.2 million deal with Besiktas as Inter and the Premier Lig champions are believed to have found an agreement over the player’s price-tag.
Inter had initially asked € 1.5 million, but they eventually decided to let the player go for free. Roberto Mancini signed Erkin on a free transfer at the beginning of the summer transfer window, but new Inter boss Franck De Boer was not left impressed by Erkin’s performances during pre-season trainings and decided to offload the 27-year-old.

According to FcInter1908.it, Erkin wanted to move to Besiktas so much that he has reportedly ‘threatened’ Inter’s chiefs that if they wouldn’t have agreed his free transfer to Besiktas, he would have stayed at Inter demanding each single penny of his contract expiring in 2019.
