Emery to PSG as Blanc becomes rich
Movements in the transfer market that could have consequences in Italy; Paris Saint-Germain are ready for another revolution and this will involve the job of team coach. The defeat in the quarter-finals of the Champions League against Manchester City has left its mark which has led the club’s wealthy owners to seek out a new manager. Laurent Blanc has not yet been officially notified, but he has already realized that his future will not be at PSG.
MONEY, MONEY, MONEY
Despite having a contract until 2018, the removal of the 50-year-old will be rich in redundancy payments. According to L’Equipe, the dismissal of the former Head Coach of France will cost the Parisian club between €10 and €15 million. Unai Emery became number one choice after Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone rejected a move to Paris. In France they speak of a deal that is in the home straight, so much so that the Spanish coach is already in the French capital to discuss personal terms but the deal is not closed. There is still a little hope for Milan, but the club’s failure to find an agreement about its future is likely to be an insurmountable obstacle.
