Details of Robert Lewandowski’s new Bayern Munich deal revealed

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is set to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena until 2021, German paper Bild reports.

The Polish striker is believed to be a transfer target of Real Madrid, but his imminent contract extension suggest that the Merengues will have to look somewhere else to sign their next striker.

The LaLiga giants, however, have been banned for the next two transfer windows and wouldn’t be able to sign any new player until January 2018.

The Bild reports that Lewandowski’s new salary is set to rise to € 14.5 million. The former  Borussia Dortmund striker is currently getting € 10 million a year.

Lewandowski’s new deal with Bayern Munich is set to expire in 2021. The 28-year-old striker is under contract with the Bundesliga giants since July 2014, when he moved from Borussia Dortmund in a free transfer.

‘Lewa’ has ten goals and two assists in 13 games in all competitions this term. The Polish striker is among the three best centre-forwards in the world alongside Luis Suarez and Gonzalo Higuain.
