Deschamps;: "Pogba must do better, he has to decide what position is best for him"
Speaking after his country’s 4-1 World Cup qualifying win over Bulgaria last night, French national team Head Coach Didier Deschamps spoke of the future role of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in the team. He explained that; “Paul must do better, he played in a more defensive role but he has the characteristics to do better.” He added that; “He must find more continuity in his play and decide what position is best for him”.
Pogba has had a mixed start to the new campaign since his return to Manchester United this summer, former Reds legend Paul Scholes accused him of trying too hard to impress on his Old Trafford return and that he should stick to doing the simple things. Jose Mourinho is also yet to find his ideal position in his new-look team although there have been recent signs that he is beginning to settle since his switch from Juventus.
