Desailly tells The Sun: Pogba will stay at Juventus!
The French midfielder has long been linked to a return to his former club - which he left in 2012 to join Juventus - with some British sources even claiming that a move had been agreed.
Marcel Desailly, formerly of Chelsea and AC Milan, told the Sun that Pogba “rejected a lot of offers [last season] because he is fine at Juventus”.
“I am sure he is going to stay another year.”
He added: "He will become the best midfielder in the world. At the meantime he is just someone who has amazing potential.
"Remember he is 23, he needs time, but he has shown so much capacity and ability you would like to see him go on and become a top player in the world.
"A player doesn’t feel the pressure of playing just because of the fee. You don’t think about the fee a club is willing to pay."
Desailly himself knows a thing or two about big-money moves, having moves from Marseille to AC Milan in the early 1990s, going on to win a World Cup and a European Championship with Les Bleus, as well as scoring the Rossoneri's fourth in their trouncing of Barcelona in the 1994 Champions League final.
