De Boer slams Inter: ‘Nobody in charge of the club’
“The owners are Chinese, the president is Indonesian and directors are Italian. In theory they have all the power, but the truth is that nobody has the power there. I think that’s the biggest problem in the club. They are very demanding, but you have to be an organized club in order to win.”
“The 70% of players were well trained, they knew what they were going through. I wanted to change the club’s mentality, use a different system: a 4-3-3 offensive, but not too much. Sometimes we played good games like against Juventus. There were too many highs and lows, I needed more time. Look at Napoli, they’ve been waiting for eight years before having a return of their investment, at Inter they want to reach the top in two weeks, that’s not how it works.”
