Daniele Rugani could ask for transfer if Juventus sign Benatia
The player has already reached agreement with the bianconeri (€ 3 million, three-year-contract) but Juventus want guarantees that the player is in good physical conditions and that’s why they have yet to finalize the agreement.
If the Old Lady decides to drop the player, AS Roma and AC Milan could return in race to sign the Morocco International.
What would Benatia’s arrival mean for Daniele Rugani? That would not be positive at all for the promising Italian defender who struggled with game time in the first six months of the last campaign and would become the fifth-choice defender again after the arrival of Benatia.
It is still too early to predict whether Rugani will ask to leave the club with Benatia aboard, but it is no secret that Rugani’s name is on the agendas of many top Italian and European clubs.
Arsenal and Napoli are still the most interested clubs, not to mention AS Roma which have already asked information about the 21-yaer-old centre-back during the Pjanic’s negotiations.
An offer in the region of € 20 million could tempt the Old Lady who has already informed that even an offer around € 40-45 million won’t be enough to welcome the services of Leonardo Bonucci.
