Dani Alves and Mascherano to Juventus: latest updates
As many Italian papers report this morning, the Old Lady has offered both players a three year-deal, but Dani Alves has an option on his contract which allows him to leave Barcelona for free one year before the natural expiration of his contract.
If the Brazilian right-back informs Barcelona before the 5th of June, he can leave the Nou Camp for free.
It will be much more complicated, however, to see Mascherano wearing the black-and-white shirt next season. Why? Because El Jefecito can’t leave for free and has a € 100 million release clause. Mascherano wouldn’t mind a move to the J Stadium, though Barcelona would only let him go for an offer in the region of € 30 million.
