Could Lapadula leave Milan in January?
The €9 million signing has only started one Serie A game so far, and that was against Sampdoria… in which the former Pescara man’s subbing with Carlos Bacca turned the game in the Rossoneri’s favour.
With Pescara president Daniele Sebastiani recently claiming that he’d love to have his former striker back and that “he needs time on the pitch because we can judge”, the notion of a Lapadula departure is doing the rounds.
Though it’s certainly possible for January, it doesn’t look so likely right now: the 24-year-old is considered a young, exciting talent. Nevertheless, he’s behind the likes of Carlos Bacca and M’Baye Niang, who can even play up front if needed.
Who is in trouble, is Luiz Adriano, hotly pursued by CSKA Moscow and Zenit.
