Conte wants Juventus target Cuadrado to remain at Chelsea
“In my vision of football I love seeing a winger who tries to dribble opponents one-on-one,” he told assembled media at in a Chelsea press conference today, “and Juan is one of these.
“I'm happy to coach him, and when you have the likes of Pedro and he to replace William and Moses, it's good for the team.”
Conte's love for the Colombian midfielder is hardly a secret, having pursued him when he was back at Juventus. Part of his eventual rupture with the Bianconeri allegedly had to do with Giuseppe Marotta's refusal to countenance bids for either Cuadrado or Juan Iturbe.
“Cuadrado is a Chelsea player and I hope he remains as such”.
