Confirmed: flop West Ham striker set for Juventus January return

Flop West Ham striker Simone Zaza is set to return to Juventus in January, Sky Sports UK reports. The Italian frontman has been delivering some highly disappointing performances for the Hammers so far this season so much so he has yet to score his first goal for the East London club.

West Ham have decided not to activate the € 20 million buy-out clause included in the striker’s contract. The buy-out clause is mandatory is Zaza reaches his 14th appearance with the club, but the Italian striker is set to return to the club before reaching that target.

The player’s agent revealed yesterday that Zaza is going to return to Juventus during the incoming transfer window, but also confirmed that the future of the striker is up in the air. On the one hand, Juventus may need to sign a striker in January but, on the other hand, Juventus have no long term plans for the Italian striker who was sold last summer after the arrival of Marko Pjaca.

As of today, Cesare Prandelli’s Valencia are the most interested club in signing the 25-year-old striker.
