Cm Sources – Why Isak’s Inter move collapsed last summer
AIK starlet Alexsander Isak went close to joining Inter last summer, our transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano has exclusively learned.
The Swedish promise (17), has already netted nine goals in the opening 20 games of the season and Massimiliano Mirabelli, former Inter chief scout and new AC Milan director of sport, had received stunning reports on the striker tipped to become the ‘next Ibrahimovic’.
He has physical strength, fabulous technical skills as well as huge personality, all the features that made Ibra one of the finest playes of the game.
Inter were in advanced talks to sign Isak last summer, but the player’s price-tag quickly reached double figures and the nerazzurri opted to invest big on Gabigol rather than on the promising Swedish hit-man.
Isak’s price-tag is now believed to exceed € 10 million and PSG are reportedly ready to offer similar figures in the winter transfer window, with Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern Munich that are also keeping a close eye on the next Ibra. Even if, you know, there is only one Zlatan.
