CM Sources – Darmian agrees to Inter move, first offer for Man Utd ready
The Special One had blocked Darmian’s exit in the last summer transfer window, when Inter tried to sign him, but given the player’s lack of game time, Mourinho could change his mind in January and let the 25-year-old leave the Old Trafford.
Despite being a long-time target of Juventus, Darmian has already agreed to move to Inter, sources have exclusively told calciomercato.com.
As our pundit Fabrizio Romano points out, Darmian was also open to move to the club last summer, before Mourinho’s decision to block his exit.
Inter will make a loan offer with option to buy, which might turn into a mandatory one, if the player registers a certain amount of games during his six-month spell at the Meazza.
Manchester United have placed € 20 million price tag on the Italy International, whilst the Serie A giants would prefer not to spend more than € 14 million.
Darmian, moved from Torino to Manchester United in summer 2015 for a transfer fee of € 18 million and despite lack of game time with ManU, his mentor Giampiero Ventua has given him a call up to Italy national team to face Spain and Macedonia in the World Cup Qualifiers.
