Juventus have offered a four-year, € 4 million-a-year deal plus bonus. Marotta and Paratici have recently met the player’s entourage preparing the documents they’ll need in January to complete the player’s transfers.
Once they put pen to paper on the agreement, they’ll try to persuade Zenit to sell the player in January, otherwise they’ll wait until June and seal the player’s transfer for free next summer.
Meantime, Rodrigo Bentancur will also join the club at the end of the season. Juventus have activated their first-option clause and the Uruguayan playmaker will be tested with Juventus senior squad at the beginning of next season before deciding if he’s good enough to stay with the bianconeri side or get some game time in another Serie A club instead.
