CM EXCLUSIVE: Zaza unlikely to join Wolfsburg

The future of Juventus striker Simone Zaza remains uncertain; the only certain thing is that the 24-year-old has decided to quit his cooperation with his agent Christian Maifredi and to be assisted by his father.

Juventus reached an agreement with Wolfsburg for the transfer of the former Sassuolo man to the German Club, and also Maifredi was pressing for such option, while the player didn’t seem too enthusiastic about moving to the Bundesliga. Now, with the change of agent, it seems almost impossible for the Die Wölfe to sign the Italy national.

In general, Zaza would prefer to remain in Italy, even if he would eventually agree to a less traumatic transfer; for this reason, the player was going to accept to join Leicester, and now his priority is keep on playing in the Serie A.

A transfer to Napoli remains a complicated option, while AS Roma could make a concrete attempt if Dzeko would leave; AC Milan remain however his most probable destination, but the rossoneri have some financial problems at the moment; the Lombard club could try to offer some players to the Serie A defending champions, but the latter are only interested in De Sciglio.

On the other hand, Juve themselves could decide to bet on Zaza if Mario Mandzukic would decide to quit Turin.
