The 20-year-old Stefano Sensi and the 18-year-old Amadou Diawara –both midfielders- are two of the most interesting youngsters of the Italian football. Both of them have started their career as professional players at San Marino, and the Titani’s president Luca Mancini has released some interesting declarations to calciomercato.com:

“I’m proud to hear certain transfer rumors about them. Of course I am also upset, because the Italian doesn’t believe in the young players. Now both Sensi and Diawara have an extremely high evaluation, but they could have been signed last summer for a much more reasonable amount”

“I had Stefano at Cesena when I was their General Manager” Mancini added “and I brought him to San Marino. They said he was too short… What about Verratti? Or Pizarro? In any case, he’s different from Verratti, he can also play as an attacking midfielder. We also had a Spanish coach, who said that he’s stronger than the young Xavi. He deserves the Serie A”

Regarding Diawara, Mancini stated: “He had a different path. We found him in Guinea and we brought him to Italy. Yes, it’s true, Inter Milan and Juventus were after him. He would be perfect for the Premier League”
