Juventus are reportedly interested in Shakhtar Donetsk ace Douglas Costa. CM.com contacted the agent of the 21-year-old attacking midfielder to see whether there is any truth behind this rumour. As confirmed by Cesar Bottega, the last contact between the Bianconeri and the Brazilian player dates back to Alessio Secco’s days.*

*“It has been a while; I remember talking to their former director Alessio Secco about my client. But recently I haven’t heard from them,” explained Bottega.*

*“He would be a perfect replacement for Alessandro Del Piero though. Douglas likes to start wide on the flank and then cut in the box, his style reminds me of the young Del Piero in Marcello Lippi’s Juve. My client could do very well in Italy if he was to play in that position.”*

*CM.com also took the chance to ask Bottega about a couple other Brazilian players who have been linked to Juventus, Milan and Inter. “Damiao’s transfer value is really high. He is the most wanted because he is a regular in the national team and keeps on scoring,” he explained. “Shakhtar are thinking about him since their finances are excellent.”*

*Regarding Dedé, who has been compared by former Brazil boss Carlos Dunga
to Lucio, Bottega has a different opinion: “In terms of temper he is more similar to Gennaro Gattuso because he never gives in. Dedé is a top defender who could really make it to the top”.*
