According to Sandro Mazzola, Inter did quite well in the transfer campaign and the departure of Thiago Motta cannot be considered a big loss for the club.

Interviewed exclusively by Calciomercato.com, Mazzola said: “I was never enthusiastic about Thiago Motta. I don’t think he is a big loss while Angelo Palombo can be much more consistent”.

“I like Palombo, I have been following for a long while. I don’t know much about Fredy Guarin and I am curious to see what he can give to this side.

“Inter deserves a 6.5 rating for the transfer market,” concluded Mazzola.
