CM EXCLUSIVE: Juve still after Swiss starlet Breel Embolo

Recently, FC Basel striker Breel Donald Embolo has revealed to have refused an offer received from Wolfsburg during the next transfer window. As explained by calciomercato.com’s expert Fabrizio Romano, the German club was ready to pay an important transfer fee and to offer an interesting contract to the 18-year-old. But this latter was waiting for a more prestigious club, like, for example, Juventus. The bianconeri have been in fact in talks with the player’s agents since June, but they were not intentioned to pay the 25 million euros required by the Swiss club, as, by that thime, they didn’t need to reinforce their offensive line. In any case, the Cameroonian-born Swiss player remains an option for the Serie A defending champions, even though now there are even more clubs after him –Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and Arsenal- and his evaluation has increased to 30 millions.
