CM EXCLUSIVE: why Conte is an option for Milan and Juve
Once again, at the end of a game, the rossoneri’s president Silvio Berlusconi has congratulated the rival team’s boss. This time it was Atalanta’s Edoardo Reja, one year ago Empoli’s Maurizio Sarri. This latter was a candidate for Milan’s bench last summer, as well as Unai Emery, but Berlusconi finally chose Sinisa Mihajlovic.
The Serb had a quite important budget for his transfer market campaign, and finally used it well, but not very well. Mihajlovic has worked well even with some of the club’s old players, but if he won’t obtain the third place in the final table of the Serie A, he won’t probably be confirmed.
Similar situation for what concerns Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri: during yesterday’s interview, the Piedmont’s club CEO Giuseppe Marotta has alluded to the coach’s responsibilities.
For their future, both clubs are thinking about the Italian national team’s manager Antonio Conte. This latter is intentioned to quit his current job after the European Cup; he’s missing too much the weekly competition.
