Christmas sales: Ganso-Milan?
Not so long ago, Paulo Henrique Ganso was regarded as the hottest prospect in Brazilian football. Now his value has been dramatically reduced due to a number of poor displays including the disappointing Copa America campaign with Brazil.
It is no secret that Ganso is available on the transfer market with Santos ready to sell just after the Clubs’ World Cup next December. Even though Ganso is no longer hitting the headlines of European newspapers, Milan and a number of other clubs are still monitoring him.
As Adriano Galliani confirmed, the Rossoneri have a non-EU spot available for January and could make a move for the Brazilian youngster. Inter have already turned down the hefty requests from Santos, but whether Milan are willing to pay almost 50M Euros for him is yet to be seen. Ganso would be a massive gamble for the Rossoneri considering his fitness conditions and recent performances (he has only scores eight goals in 45 appearances).
