Chelsea want former Juventus coach Conte to succeed Mourinho
The Special One has come under a lot of pressure, with the Blues losing 8 games out of a possible 15 and sitting an uncomfortable two points above the relegation zone.
Now, according to the Independent, former Juventus manager Antonio Conte has been cherry-picked to lead the Pensioners back to the promised land. The current Azzurri boss would take over at the end of the season.
We had anticipated the possibility of Conte leaving the Italian national team a few days ago, when Milan legend and former Demetrio Albertini speculated that his former Azzurri team-mate could bolt at the end of the season.
Conte has been reportedly unhappy with the setup, complaining that he "feels isolated" and hasn't had enough contact with his players.
