Chelsea scout out Barca-bound Umtiti, but is it too late?
Though Coach Antonio Conte is a big fan of the Senegalese star, Mundo Deportivo claim that the Pensioners have sent feelers to Samuel Umtiti's agent. A star in Lyon for years now, it had recently reported that the 22-year-old had eyes only for Barcelona, and that he was very close to joining the Catalans.
Chelsea buying Lyon players? It's happened before, but at expensive prices: Florent Malouda (€19 million, Michael Essien (€38m).
Umtiti is currently valued at €15m by transfermarkt, the Frenchman has made 131 appearances for the Gones.
