Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo has unveiled a new look ahead of this Monday’s Ballon d’Or ceremony. The Portuguese superstar, who is clear favourite to lift the award after guiding his country to glory at Euro 2016 last summer, has put a golden tint in his hair.


 

Many people are convinced that this is in anticipation of being crowned the winner for the fourth time on Monday evening. Ronaldo is one of a number of players who coach Zinedine Zidane will rest this weekend for the game against Deportivo La Coruna, as Los Blancos prepare for the World Club Cup in Japan.
 

The prestigious award is once again being organised by France Football magazine who ended their partnership with FIFA. This means that Football’s governing body will be hosting a separate ceremony in January entitled The Best FIFA Football Awards.

Ronaldo has also been in the news lately after allegations that he did not pay tax on €150 million rebuffed by the forward.
