According to the Daily Mail, the Citizens are desperate to sign the Uruguayan and the Argentine forwards who proved all their worth in Champions League.

Aurelio De Laurentiis just recently claimed he won’t let go of his two star men but such a ludicrous offer could make the Azzurri patron change his mind.

Ilicic wants Champions League

Palermo ace Josip Ilicic could leave the Stadio Barbera at the end of the season as he dreams to play in Champions League.

“His future depends on Wolfsburg, which own his rights, and Roma, that could buy him out,” explained Mikkel Beck.

“Simon wants to stay because last summer he strongly wanted to join the Giallorossi. But for now they haven’t told us anything.”
