Carlos Tevez risks 12-game ban for insulting referee’s sister

Genius and insanity. Former Juventus ace Carlos Tevez claimed the spotlight in the last Argentinean league’s clash between his side Boca Juniors and Belgrano.

The former bianconeri star netted a peach of a goal in the first half with a clinical right-footed shot from outside the danger area before losing his cool shortly after.

Tevez, 32, made a hard tackle on Belgrano’s Lema, but the referee’s decision of sanctioning him with a yellow card, did not leave the Argentinean too happy as he shouted ‘La concha de tu hermana!’  (Literally ‘your sister is a b****) to the referee, seconds after he had been showed the yellow card.

Mr. Delfino, that’s the identity of the referee, could not think about it twice and took a showed Tevez, not a second yellow card, but a straight red card instead.

Tevez will now be suspended from a minimum of three games to a maximum of twelve, a consequence of his disrespectful behaviour which he had never showed during his two-year spell at Juventus.
