Capello rescinds Russia contract. Next stop, Roma or Chelsea?
Having quit his role in July, the former England and Roma manager was still on the Russian Federation's books until now, but could now be tempted to a move to the Premier League, where managers with his CV are guaranteed some interest.
This news should interest Chelsea and former club Roma, with whom he won the club's last Scudetto in 2000/2001.
With Jose Mourinho's position still tenuous, the London club may be tempted to bring in a coach who has also won league titles with Milan (4), Real Madrid (2) and Juventus (2, though later rescinded by Calciopoli), as well as a Champions League in 1994, when the Rossoneri thrashed Johan Cruyff's Barcelona 4-0 in Athens.
