Candreva warns Inter: ‘If we play like against Sparta, we’re not even going to finish seventh’
Talking to Radio Deejay after yesterday’s defeat, Inter newcomer Antonio Candreva said: “I don’t know what goes on with us. We had a very bad start to the season in Serie A, but we played some entertaining football.”
“In Europe it’s different, we didn’t play at all. I am not satisfied with an average performance, I always want the best and each one of us must think the same.”
“If we always play like against Sparta, we are not even going to finish seventh and our objective is to qualify to Champions League.”
“I am really in sync with Icardi, we’ve been playing together for just a month but there is a good understanding between us. He’s a stunning finisher who always makes the most of my passes.”
