Antonio Candreva is expected to leave Cesena in the current transfer window but according to his agent the player would only leave permanently and is set to refuse any loan deals.

Napoli and Fiorentina are reportedly interested in the former Udinese and Juventus player.

“It is no secret that the Azzurri are after him,” said agent Federico Pastorello. “We didn’t speak to Fiorentina but I am aware that Pantaleo Corvino was in Cesena to watch my client.

“Against Novara, Antonio was one of the best men on the pitch. Cesena won’t let him go easily and the player won’t accept a loan move.

“Napoli need to do something more to get him: enquire is not enough,” added Pastorello.

“We will have to see if he is the midfielder Fiorentina need. But the Viola are a big team which would help a young player like Antonio improving.

“Still, right now Candreva is fully focused on Cesena,” concluded the agent.
