Cagliari pounce on wataway Leicester City midfielder

Cagliari are dreaming of brining Gokhan Inler back to Serie A. The Swiss midfielder left Napoli to join Leicester City last summer bud despite the Foxes’ historic title win, Inler was not able to rack up enough game time with N’Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater who impressed in his same position last term.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Cagliari want to make an offer to sign the 32-year-old midfielder who has never hidden his desire to move to Sardinina, where he would like to buy a new property.

Leicester City’s boss Claudio Ranieri could allow the player’s departure towards Cagliari, one of the first professional teams he worked for at the beginning of his coaching career.
