BREAKING: Shanghai Shenhua line up Felipe Melo bid

Chinese side Shanghia Shenhua are interested in signing Inter midfielder Felipe Melo, Sky Sport Italia reports.

The Brazilian player joined Inter from Galatasaray for a fee of € 3.5 million last summer but after a good start to the season he has become a back-up to Gary Medel.

Melo, 32, is under contract with Inter until 2017, but Roberto Mancini does not consider him unsellable anymore.

Representatives from Shanghai Shenhua have already met the player’s entourage offering Melo a salary in the region of € 8 million a year.

They are also reportedly interested to appoint Cesare Prandelli as their new coach. The former Galatasaray manager and current CM.com’s columnist has already coached Melo in Turkey.

The Chinese side bought former Inter star Obafemi Martins from MLS’ Seattle Sounders and Fredy Guarin from Inter during the last winter transfer window
