    BREAKING Nagatomo could renew Inter deal by Friday, Twitter reacts accordingly

    It's been in the pipeline for a while: Inter full-back Yuto Nagatomo is set to extend his stay with the club until 2020. 

    According to our sources, the 29-year-old and his entourage will meet representatives from the Beneamata tomorrow to agree upon a two-year deal, with an option for a third year. 

    The two sides are so close to reaching an agreement, in fact, that it could all be done and dusted by Friday, with the Nerazzurri potentially making it official by then.

    The Japanese international is very happy in Milan, and has strongly lobbied to stay. Very popular with his team-mates inside the dressing room, Nagatomo is viewed as the consummate professional....but also as a bridgehead into the Asian market. 

    Nagatomo joined the Nerazzurri during the 2010/2011 season from Cesena, and has proved to be a... passable full-back. To be honest, it's hard to think of recent highlights of his that DON'T include a red card.

    He was sent off against Napoli earlier this season, a game Inter would go on to lose 2-1...



    Though Allan is accused of diving, what on earth was that sliding tackle?

    More recently, Nagatomo was given his marching orders at the weekend following what looks to be a blatant dive from Andrea Belotti... No need to show that one, Inter fans may get another heart-attack.
