Negotiations between the two clubs are reported to be imminent as Ferrero wants to announce the team’s new boss as soon as possible. In case he won’t be manage to find an agreement with the current Serie A leaders, Gigi Delneri is reported to be Ferrero's second option for Sampdoria's bench.
