Bournemouth ‘hijack’ Watford move for Roma winger Iturbe
The 22-year-old was spotted in London yesterday and an agreement with Premier League side Watford appeared to be imminent.
Trouble is, Bournemouth have hijacked Watford’s bid for the former Verona star offering the player a higher salary and some amazing benefits.
Iturbe is ready to put pen to paper on a contract worth € 2.3 million per year, plus € 700.000 in case the club will survive in the Premier League and he will be involved in at least five goal attempts in the current campaign.
The attacking winger will be also given a luxury car, personal driver and translator, a breathtaking villa and free travels to Argentina, his native country.
Iturbe will join Bournemouth on a six months loan with a € 22 million buy-out clause option. Watford have offered 18.
