Bologna refuse huge Bundes bids for Diawara, chase Saints flop Ramirez

Bologna aren't giving up on Saints striker Gaston Ramirez. They made contact with him through former striker Marco Di Vaio, before Roberto Donadoni stepped in to outline his project to the Uruguayan.

The Southampton flop is actually very interested in it- we revealed in the Autumn that he was desperate to return to Serie A - but wants a three year deal. After all, he is willing to sacrifice a big chunk of his EPL salary in order to play for his former side. The Felsinei will require further work in order to find an agreement. 

Among the other updates, Bologna are ramping up the pressure for OGC Nice's central defender Kevin Gomis (a good, solid centre-back who can also play in midfield), but have also shot down big Bundesliga offers for midfielder Amadou Diawara. Schalke were ready to stump up €15 million... whilst Wolfsburg went as far as €17! 

They now say they want 30... which'll make for quite the auction come summer.
