Bologna DS Corvino: 'Napoli are the emerging power, Juve's time may be up'
Last night's 0-0 draw at the Dall'Ara could be the umpteenth turning point in an already-thrilling Serie A season.
With Napoli facing Milan on Monday, the Partenopei have the chance to leapfrog the Bianconeri and take back first place in the race for the Scudetto.
According to Bologna's Director of Sport, Pantaleo Corvino, however, this changing of the guard may be here to stay.
“Napoli are the new power, it’s nice to see someone like the Azzurri compete with the title with the same old Juventus, it’s good for Italian football.
"It’s normal, natural that a cycle should end, it could well be time for Juventus’ to end now, though they’ll fight to the bitter end."
Corvino also spoke of his team's game:
"We’re happy about yesterday’s performance, we’ve managed to get in the way of Fiorentina and Milan, as well as Juventus. We’ve shown that we can play against big teams, and earn their respect".
Bologna are now 9th, on 34 points.
