Bielsa the favourite to take over Argentina!

Marcelo Bielsa isn't resting on his laurels after jilting Lazio at the altar.

In fact, Sky Sport Italy are claiming that El Loco is closer and closer to returning to his previous post as Argentina's Coach, which he held from 1998 to 2004. Though the 2002 World Cup was an abject failure, Bielsa would end up taking the Olympic squad to gold in Athens, and second place in the 2004 Copa America.

Ironically, the former Athletic Bilbao and Marseille manager is being called up to end a streak of three straight final losses. Argentinian fans reportedly view him and Diego Simeone as the two most palatable options, and both have been named by media since Gerardo Martino left his post following the Albiceleste's heart-breaking Copa American loss to Chile in last month's final.
