Besiktas want to sign Gabigol on loan

Besiktas are interested in signing Inter, Brazil striker Gabigol. The former Santos starlet joined the Meazza hierarchy in a € 30 million deal last summer but has only played 16 minutes in all competitions so far this season.

According to Rayo Kiss Besiktas, the Turkish side want to sign Gabigol on loan in January, but they want the loan spell to last 18 months and not just six, which is Inter’s preferred solution.

Gabigol, however, is said not to be open to leave Inter on loan in January as he’s reported to be intended to stay at the club to play his cards for a spot in the Serie A giants’ starting XI.

Inter are considering selling the 20-year-old on loan to give him some game time in Europe. There are also two Serie A sides that would welcome Gabigol with open arms: both Pescara and Empoli are said to be open to sign Gabigol on a six-month loan.
