Federico Bernardeschi isn't just one of the Fiorentina faithful's most adored players: he's also got a shot at making a decisive contribution for Italy at this year's Euro 2016. It looks like he's relishing it, too. 

“The first time I wore the Azzurri shirt, I was with the Under-18 side,” he told vivoazzurro.it, “it's a feeling that I'll never forget”. 

Asked about the footballers who most inspire him, he revealed that Gianluigi Buffon “is a legend, a myth. My idol when I was growing up? Andriy Shevchenko”.
