Belotti set for Torino extension with huge release clause

Andrea Belotti is in the form of his life having scored five goals in the first five Serie A games with Torino (he also missed two penalties and hit the woodwork once) and netted his first ever goal with senior Italy national team earlier this week in the first start of his career with the azzurri side.

Belotti’s stunning performances and the rising interest of Italian and European clubs have convinced Torino president Urbano Cairo to offer the 22-year-old striker a contract extension with pay rise.

Today’s edition of Tuttosport reports that the granata are set to offer their star a five-year contract (not possible to offer him more than that) with a pay rise and a huge release clause which should be in the region of € 60 million.

Belotti is reportedly happy to extend his stay at the Stadio Grande Torino and is expected to put pen to paper on the new agreement with the club he joined in summer 2015 for € 8.4 million.
