Ruiz had been a long time target of three top Premier League clubs before he signed a new three-year-deal with the Blaugrana.
Teamtalk reports that Pep Guariola is a long time admirer of the promising striker, so much so he wanted to bring him to the Etihad in the summer. Arsenal saw their offer rejected last January, while Chelsea tried to convince the player’s family to move to London.
Ruiz has eventually snubbed a move to the Premier League signing a contract extension with the blaugrana. Will he be the next ‘craque’ of the Nou Camp outfit?
