Barcelona have announced that Javier Mascherano has signed a contract extension at the Camp Nou. The 32-year-old Argentine has committed himself to the club until 2019. The player was subject of much speculation in the summer and was linked with a possible move to Juventus.

The Catalan giants have also confirmed that Brazilian superstar Neymar will sign his new deal at the club on Friday. The 24-year-old will extend his stay until June 2021.
