Barça to make most of Real transfer ban to snag Ozil?

Could Arsenal wunderkid Mesut Özil be on his way to Barcelona? That's certainly what Madrid paper AS claims in today's edition, saying that the Culés are hoping to make the most of Real Madrid's transfer ban to sneak in and snatch the German international from under their noses.

After an up-and-down start, the former Merengues player has become a transcendental figure at the Emirates, and easily one of Europe's most appreciated midfielders.

Trouble is, Football Leaks reveals that Real Madrid inserted an "Anti-Barca" clause when he moved to Arsenal,
basically meaning that the Galacticos got the right of first refusal in case the German star attracted any interest from La Liga.

Were Real to be banned from participating in the transfer market, however... things would change.

In a rivalry where pig's heads are hurled at players who cross over to the other side, we'd expect nothing less.
