Barcelona don’t need Bernardeschi
Fiorentina’s winger Federico Bernardeschi was linked with a Camp Nou move last week after that Mr. Braida was spotted in the stands of the St. Jakob-Park for the Europe League game between Basel and Fiorentina.
“Basel’s sporting director is a friend of mine and I met him on that day. The Swiss’ are interested in some of our youngsters and that’s why I was there. Bernardeschi is a young, talented player. We like him, but we don’t need him. We have enough players in that part of the pitch right now.”
Talking about former Barcelona right-back Martin Montoya, the 69-year-old revealed that he doesn’t know why he can’t find space at Inter.
“He was really appreciated here, I don’t know why he never plays at Inter. I guess that Mancini has different ideas but I am sure that lot of Spanish clubs would be interested in signing him.”
