    Balotelli LIVE: goodbye to 45, his new number is 9

    Today is the day of Mario Balotelli and Nice. The Italian striker and the French club are about to commence their adventure in Ligue 1 with the clubs fans having already given him a heroes welcome. The 26-year-old has ditched his old number 45 and has taken the number 9 jersey for the remainder of the season. Last season, Ben Arfa had the number and took the club to the Europa League. Now they will turn to Mario who will shortly be speaking at a press-conference.
     
    THE WORDS OF RAIOLA:
    His agent, Mino Raiola told Premium Sport that; "There were no alternatives in England, Italy, Spain and Germany and he is happy here. The national team? He is only concentrating on Nice at the moment".
