It appears that
Chelsea target Milan Badelj’s agent could force a standoff with Fiorentina.
Dejan Joksimovic has long since been feeding stories to the media about his player’s unhappiness in Florence, even saying that the Croatian could play for Barcelona if he wanted to.
The agent has also rejected any talk of a new deal, something which seems to indicate that he is trying to force a departure for the former Bundesliga star.
La Repubblica now claim that Badelj’s agent has once again said no to Fiorentina’s director of sport, Pantaleo Corvino, and that the two are not talking.
Could this be positive news for AC Milan, who came close to signing the Croatian this summer? The talk of a possible Badelj move to the San Siro in January has never died down, but there is resistance coming from Florence. While some are angry at the Croatian’s posturing, others believe that Fiorentina will stick to a centre midfielder known for being a key cog in Paulo Sousa’s midfield.
